Truffle Making Class With Wine Tasting
DATES: Offered most every Monday evening depending on ticket sales.
TIMES: Starts at 6:30 sharp and is over by 8:00PM
PRICE: $69 per person. Available for groups of up to 10 people. Call for group pricing.
Do you know what a truffle is? Know the difference between a truffle and a confection? Do you know how ganache is made? Have you ever wondered how flavors are infused into chocolate?
Chocolate Box wants to help answer these important questions and more in a fun and educational manner with our unique Truffle Making Class that’s hosted by guest chocolatiers … some well-known and some up-and-coming … who love to share their unique chocolate recipes and chocolate-making secrets! And to make your class even more fun, you’ll also be sampling Washington wines that pair perfectly with the truffles you’ll be making. Oh my!
After arriving at Chocolate Box, you’ll be welcomed with tastes of local bubbly and hear an introduction to Washington wines by our knowledgeable staff … as well as an overview of the artisanal chocolate world and how we select the perfect chocolate for truffle making. Then the chocolatier takes over with lessons about making ganache, infusing flavors into chocolate, and coaching you through the making of your own, unique truffles. We’ll provide an exciting buffet of perfect coatings for your truffles and a gift box to take them home.
And we’re not done! After you finish your chocolate fun, you’ll be given a coupon for shopping with a discount on all of our chocolate products as well as our wines. You can also use your coupon to buy tickets to our other Chocolate Box experiences! Our Truffle Making Class is a great idea for aspiring pastry chefs, birthday celebrations or simply a ladies or guys night out! Enjoy!

- Classes require at least four people to be held. Feel free to call the ticketing line in advance of your class date to see how ticket sales are going. Class cancellations are announced 24 hours in advance.
- Please let our ticketing people know of any food allergies when you purchase your tickets.
- We provide parking discount coupons for the Republic Parking Garage at 3rd Ave. & Stewart St. (entrance just west of the corner).
